Manon's story

has been training manager at International Business (IB) since 2005:

"The development of young people is a wonderful social challenge. And I am happy to contribute to that with interesting projects. When I started at Zuyd, I immediately felt at home. That's because of all the committed colleagues. Everyone here wants to do the best for our students and society."

A working day at Zuyd

“Every day is different. So don't be surprised if your plans change halfway through the day. I have a lot of consultations and meetings with students and colleagues. At the same time, we are improving our program and the domain in all kinds of ways. And yes, I also have to keep up with the administration. That's a little less fun.”

International students, global future

“What's great is our close-knit team at IB. As colleagues, we have a lot of personal contact with each other and enjoy team days. We always alternate serious topics with enjoyable activities! And I see that this rubs off on our students. Because our team is so close-knit, they feel that we are sincere and trustworthy. In addition, Zuyd allows you to make many decisions independently. I really feel trusted here to do my job well. At the same time, you can learn a lot and take courses to further your development. I appreciate that!

And that makes Zuyd a pleasant place to work that I would definitely recommend to my friends! As I said, I meet different people. And our program has many international students. That appeals to me even more. Because all those students are going to make a difference together in these turbulent times!
