Miloe's story
She has been working at the Zuyd service desk in Heerlen since 2024:
"When you come to Zuyd in Heerlen, I may well be one of the first people you see. At the reception desk. I like it when people feel welcome as soon as they arrive and when I can help them with their questions.
Even though Zuyd is a large university of applied sciences, you have very personal contact with colleagues and students. As a former Facility Management student, I already had that feeling. And now that I work here, I still have that feeling."
A working day at Zuyd
“My working day starts at reception: I answer phone calls, manage the mailbox, hand out keys, and help visitors. I also coordinate events at our
location in Heerlen. That means working closely with colleagues from different departments.”
I really feel at home at Zuyd
“Zuyd's core values are close-knit, sincere, and confident. And that suits me perfectly. Because I treat everyone with respect and always try to be helpful. What makes Zuyd unique for me is the combination of the work and the target group. That I can do my daily work at a school. It's great!
